Turns out the suspicious one was a 79p song from ITunes (genuine). They said that often fraudsters start with ITunes just to see if a 79p sale works, and if it does, they move onto pricey stuff. Presumably as iTunes is not a regular place for me it flags that up.
So Wiggle in the clear!
I have just logged on to my account and you can as you say remove your card details, I have used them for years if i remember correctly when you open an account you are asked whether you want them to hold your card number to speed up further transactions, you have the choice. this is what happens when people don't read terms and conditions. I have used them for years and have never had a problem.RedBike said:I think you can remove your own credit card details from Wiggles site.
Click My account from the top.
On the left is a menu, select Card details.
Replace the card number with 8888 8888 8888 8888
Job done
Thankfully I've never been in it but one of the petrol station's near me also became notorious last year.HF2300 said:Agreed. Two of my brothers and my GF have had their cards cloned, one unknown - could have been online, could have been elsewhere - one at a tyre fitters, one at a petrol station. The petrol station near work became notorious a few months ago for a card skimming operation, and I've found card readers attached to cashpoint machines before now.
What makes you think Wiggle aren't totally legit, as a lorry driver I have delivered to their large warehouse in Portsmouth, a totally legit company, not like some who take your order and your money and then order from the manufacturer and take days sometime weeks to get the stuff to you.yenrod said:I dont touch Paypal (ebay) with a barge pole !
