Actually, what do you mean by "Royal Standard"? Is it a pub in that area with a 'reputation'?
It is indeed a pub. The whole area is generally referred to as the Royal Standard (as opposed to the village in Blackheath). To be honest I haven't been in the pub for a few years but it could be referred to as "iffy" last time I was in.
