Seems that London was out of sorts tonight

Massive tail back at Tower - no idea why. Lot's of stationary traffic near the Tower.

Saw a cyclist turn right at a red light at Westminster in front of the traffic coming across Westminster bridge. Just past HP, another cyclist managed to expertly dodge between two pedestrians on a Zebra crossing while I waited for them to cross safely.

Car pulled out in front of me and another cyclist just near the exit to World's End. After that, traffic backed up the Wazoo from there to the Holland Park roundabout meant a lot of nearside misses.

Oh, and the headwind on the way home was quite strong.

Apart from that, a great ride home!

You should have seen Bromley/Bickley at end-of-school time! I don't think I've ever filtered past as many 4X4s (or cycled past so few pubs - but that's a different matter....).

Fulham Palace Road was sclerotic at noon in the sunshine. Battersea Bridge ditto in the darkness at 8.30 pm. It was my first day back on the bike after seven weeks. The filtering and adrenaline felt like Heaven.
