I try that now and again but I can't relax. I always feel guilty and think about what I ought to be doing. :sad:
It's all bollocks of course but that's just how it works for me. If I have got a lot done I might finish early and go out but it's not often

Im self employed and cant take time off to cycle because ive taken on more work to buy a better bike so I can cycle that :bicycle:

I was an IT contractor for a few years. I used to get strange looks from people when I'd tell them I was giving up a day's pay to go beach fishing.

Still, at the time I was single, all my bills were paid up and I had a bit of money in the bank. My financial situation has changed drastically since then (and that's not just down to being married witrh kids) but I don't regret any of the days I took off. I've always worked to live - not the other way around.

As my eldest says - YOLO.

I'm employed and I ride everyday...to work. A healthy 30 miles daily.
