Sensible parental advice..

I was given the same advice in the 80's and 90's. I have lived by it since then.
One thing I did hear though is you are likely to soil yourself if you got knocked down (by a car) so not sure if this advice was very good!

Always clean cycling shorts, as I've proven that theory right a few times and 'arrived' in hospital. Wouldn't let them cut off a £140 jacket though ! The merino top, yes, not the jacket.
