Didn't manage to get a genuine photo, so borrowed this one. Sadly this was my lasting memory of today's ride. I did 23 miles, and only about 200 yards was on a main road, but that was enough to get an earful of abuse from the driver and rear offside passenger in a black BMW SUV thing, going in the opposite direction. Simply for being on a bike, on a public road. Some serious attitude therapy is required for these types.

Four punctures today! All tiny holes from thorns on Christmas Pass, Nevada. Couldn't locate them without a water bucket (highlighted) which I had to make up from a plastic bag and drinks crate at a small village.
