I was going to say if you're near Bristol I have one of the stock specialized wheels from my old bike to see you through until a new one was purchased at least

have just seen!
very tempted but just thinking as i won't be able to upgrade again to better wheels any time soon financially and i have heard the b'twin wheels wear quick i am a little cautious
about to post a thread to see what peoples think i should do

@young Ed: Might be worth going for these if your bike has the spacing. I doubt they'd be worse than what you have and it gives the flexibility to make more improvements to the bike in future..

I will probably have another set of wheels that i mentioned above for sale as well as swmbo thinks what i am selling will cover the cost of some rs 11`s 
if your interested i can do a black front and a silver rear wheel , better quality wheels but well worn .

Err no not atm , i cant find a piccie of the back one but heres a piccie of the bike with the original, looks pretty similar but with silver spokes .interesting

Last time i looked yes , i check true them when i remember using the thumb on brake as a guide to within a mm or sosounds good

so do you reckon it will take a 700X28c tyre? or do you reckon 700X25c is the limit?

As that's the external measurement the internal will likely be 20 or 21mm. Schwalbe reckon a minimum tyre width of 35mm if it's a 21mm rim (more details here - see page 7)
