You need to try SRAM, then the answer is easy

And the answer is? ..... Shimano

Ridden Campagnolo, SRAM and Shimano. The latter fit my hands best with my favourite being Di2. Others will have different preferences based on a number of factors.

Never tried sram

DT for me, cheap, light, simple, reliable and you can shift a whole block in one hit :-)

I agree re down tube shifting but its nice to try other's from time to time

Need to do a few more di2 miles before i can really comment on those too much

You've got to try a "clanger" as well. Dont know what it's real name is, but it is a rod operated thing on the seat tube.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Your TT bar set up is very very rude. Stick some stars over your bits please. :stop:
No problem with the massive ball on the 4 speed?

DT friction shifters for me every time.

Also really like the grip shifters on my MTB although I gather most of the rest of the world thinks they're a bit naff.

For novelty value I did enjoy the quadrant shifter I had on my old SA equipped roadster too.

I have triggers on my hybrid flatbars.
Had them for years and basically put up with them.
CX has the Sora shifters.....much better.
