Shimano 105 11spd on a Ultegra bike??

Hi All,

I need to get myself a 11spd cassette to attach to a Kickr turbo. Unfortunately the Ultegra 6800 cassettes are out of stock.

Looking on Wiggle, they have 11-32 105 cassettes in stock, can I use this with the chain I run on my Ultegra 6800 11-32 cassette?

Wiggle says HG-EV chains for 6800 cassette and "Super Narrow 11-speed HG-X chains" for the 105??

As Ian said. For future reference 11 speed chains and cassettes are completely cross-compatible between Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo (though the latter still have different freehubs, so won't fit the Kickr without an adaptor). Just make sure your RD will handle the range of whatever cassette you buy.

For what it's worth I have been running 105 10-speed on my Ultegra no problem.
The weight gain was about 2 grams & 105 was on sale at the time.
