Shimano to Campag

My son as bought a bike minus the wheels. the group set is Campagnolo Veloce/Xenon 10speed.
I have two sets of wheels both with shimano cassettes, can we use these with this groupset?
If not which would be the cheapest way to do it ?

Common wisdom on various forums is that Campag 10 speed running gear will index perfectly with a Shimano cassette. This was confirmed by my LBS when I asked them about it, they have had that combination up and running without problems.

If its of any use, Ive been running campag 10 speed levers with shimano 8 speed cassette.
If your happy to run 8 speed it works perfect and is dirt cheap

Now set the bike up, Running Campag with shimano 10speed cassette..
No real issues just a little bit less tolerance on the adjustment,
