shoes!!

The time has come for me to buy proper cycling shoes.
The problems is I do not have a clue which cleats I need to fit my pedals.

What is the best way to identify them? To me they just look like triangular plates with 3 bolts to hold them onto the pedal. Any ideas?

Do you know the make and model of your pedal ?

Any names - Look do two types, and SPD SL is very similar - both the triangular types !!!

A picture might help if you aren't sure !

Same issue here, I have just got a set of shimano PDM505 SPD pedals from Ebay and I need to work out what sort of interface unit I need between bike and person to make use of them.
