In 2006 motorvehicles killed over 3000 people by colliding with them.
In 2006 bicycles killed 2 people, one of which was the cyclist involved.
In 2006 lightning killed 5 people.
Ladders kill around 15 people per year in the UK, and seriously injure over 1100
Falling out of beds kills around 20 people per year in the UK
Next time someone says that cyclists are a danger to other people, point out that their bed is more likely to kill them than your bike!!
