I so wish they still made these... My Mums suction pad went and when I bought an un-used vintage one to replace it the rubber had perished on that too...They all seem perfectly normal hobbies to me... apart from the beer can collection.
That's just something that students do in order to avoid their recycling responsibilities.

I have seen the chap's tank parked on his front drive.
Next time I do a Reggie Ride, I may include it in the route.
Is it realistic looking as if it's made out of metal, or just a big cardboard/plastic type of model?

The tank reminds me of the DC10 that is parked in the middle of a town in New Zealand. Used to be a cafe, I think, now a museum.I have seen the chap's tank parked on his front drive.

Glass collecting is reasonably cheap (so far), you have something that is useful, you can use them in a variety of situations and you can drink anything you damn well like from them! What is not to like?
I used to collect mugs, so I know.
...... By the way, yesterday, I took delivery of a Guinness branded 147 (Liverpool, and my first 'hundred' - I am trying to get at least one from each 'century') and a 270 (Coventry. I already have a 253 (Warwickshire) though).
Coming to the bar soon is a George VI number 28 (Tower Hamlets) and a 1043 (Harringay.... I think)
