Now you're just trolling because you can't possibly admit that you were wrong still folks as unpleasant as you are probably best sticking to working with animals
Beats working with humans

I don t do that, and the evidence is ? ..getting back to my original post.

Again, your use of english doesn't make sense, but I'll have a bash at it . . . . If an owner says the dog they own has bitten them and they want it PTS because they are worried it will bite again then that's all the evidence we need, along with a signed consent form. If the animal is alleged to have bitten a member of the public it is up to the police to establish if the victim is telling the truth or not and then order the dog's destruction if appropriate.

English not your first language ? You've told us all we need to know, you actually need no evidence then ?

I'm not the one referring to others as "crazies", or "certified animal nut", or offering to write things in "idiot proof English".

You won't accept that owners could share your attitude or that they neglect and mistreat their dogs as a result of sharing your attitude.

I've told you that I meet this far too often, to which you reply I couldn't give a stuff about your interests or your experience or the sort of people you come across...

There are far too many people who have dogs and share your attitude, and they use this to justify their (mis)treatment of their animals.

Maybe if you spent some time with animals you wouldn't have such anger issues and feel the need to call people names on forums - try it, you might feel better. Failing that, why not go for a ride?

I don't think MacB was referring to you Becs...

Just out of interest Becs, if you were in the OP's shoes...what would you do?

I can't really comment without examining the animal, but personally I will not tolerate an aggressive dog in my house. Returning it to the rescue centre is entirely appropriate, however they will find rehoming a 10 year old collie with a history of biting an owner very difficult.

Would you not consider the circumstances of each individual case?

A high energy dog that is not getting the required mental and physical stimulation it needs - wouldn't you consider trying a behavioural referral (with owner's consent) or trying to find a rescue space? (though I realize the rescue situation is difficult, especially with older dogs).

Edit -just read post 120!
