And as for would he do that if you were in a vehicle... no doubt about it, there was (as it appears) a space there great enough to pull out all be it tight.

The manoeuvre was poor and I'd say the reason there was just enough space to pull out was because gb had reduced his speed as he reacted to the van pulling out.

maybe so, we cant see his speed accurately, but i was responding to if he was in a car, in which case events such as this occur all the time.
