Should I stop wearing lycra?

I wear a mish mash of stuff. Padded lycra shorts, and ordinary T-shirts. i also have sweatshirts and various other tops depending on the weather. Wear what you like and sod anyone who tells you what you should or should not wear. All these various articles about what you should wear are utter b******s.

Wear what makes you happy/confident.

I also can't understand replica team kit. The brands arent paying you massive sponsorship fees. After all, car enthusiasts don't dress up in a Nomex suit, helmet and HANS device when driving to the shops.

Lycra, fine. Team kit, somehow seems a little odd to my eyes.

Very true but there are a lot of brand whores around. Just look at all the folk wearing T shirts/tops etc with a big label across the front.

I am as comfortable in Speedo's as I am in overalls, one I wear when swimming as it is the one most suited to the job.

I think I'm about a stone heavier than you at the moment...

I do like FLAB jerseys - but have found their shorts just aren't right for me. Decathlon's largest size fit nicely though.

I wear xxl shorts so don't pay for flab ones xxl bib shorts don't go anywhere near in the body so I wear Greenwoods clip on braces lol

Nice work Chris. people can wear what they want. Cyclists can wear what they want, and often wear lycra because it is comfy and practical for cycling. It's not a bloody fashion show.
