ok im ontime little early breezing though stratham at around 17Mph a crossing ahead ( one of far too many that arn't used but that's a different rant) lights goes green to yellow see a man waiting the oppersite side.. now normally as the side closet to me was clear i would have slowed ready to stop and rolled though but this time cos it was friday and i was ontime chilled out enjoyed not having to have my windproof on i thought i'll stop get some practice in on my trackstand(which btw is getting there when i'm not paniced or stressing) so there i am still at a red little wobble to keep up right and as he walks by he jesters at the lights and yells "cant you see it F***ing red" i stay there thinking WTF!! so i yell back "I KNOW I STOPPED" hear him mumble something about cyclists really got my goat, and while im ranting 2miles down the road i get someone step out when the lights are green ( im doing prob 18/20 Mph) and i catch "You going to fast!" im mean.... just GRR thanks feel better now.

Ah sure ye have to feel sorry for the poor walking sods. I generally find that responding to their negativity with a cheerful "Good Morning. Brilliant day isn't it?" raises moods and bestows goodwill amongst all involved...

Um. It's usually best if you say that as you're moving away from them at a rate of knots.

It's one of those situations after the event you wished you had thought of more witty/cutting reply, such as "thank you I had not noticed" .

Put yourself in the pedestrians shoes. Or, swap pedestrian for cuclist, and you [cyclist] for a car driver. Not very pleasant is it.

Unfortunately as preposterous as it sounds yes, although liability maybe shared.
Why is that preposterous? On a trunk road, maybe, but in a town or village it seems to be the right way around. Green means go if it's clear
