I’ve never planted seeds of Foxgloves. They are self setters.I assume they have come from wild bird seed Poppies the same .i have a small bed at the front of the house about 6Ft by3ft that I have planted up with Cornfowers and Marigolds all self setters from last year. Another plant I find will self seed are Aquilegias The majority of my plants are perennials and usually I can make extra plants by dividing them.
I do have two compost bins and the dead headed flowers go into the bin It’s possible that some of the seed heads survive the composting process
