In late September 1997 I took my watch off and went home.
Since then I have got by without one.
Except for trains and appointments I don't care what time it is.

I didn't wear a watch for 25 years. Then I got one to keep track on stuff with the kids and now I can't leave home without it.

Fitted a Connery-Bond NATO strap to the sub. Appropriate for me as its the Royal Green Jackets regimental colours.

Just popped a 'last minute bid' into eBay, I was the only bidder..... 😐🕑

Welcome to the world of 60s & 70s funky watches. They're horribly addictive...

Not many people know that Ricoh made watches - they're better known for photocopiers!

I worked directly for the distributor, Ricoh photocopiers, as Stock/Stores Controller (... brown coat job 🤣) in Newcastle upon Tyne >> a verrry long time ago.

eBay seller claims this is 'ex Nippon', unmolested 😵‍💫.
Also 'no stock is ex India' !!

Ricoh sponsored the Intersport F3 team back in the day. They were also a personal sponsor of Damon Hill, and the title sponsor of his Van Diemen RF85 FF1600 car.

A trip to India seems to have some weird and wonderful effects on watches. The movement looks clean enough though.
