From a different angle, winter 2012 I had a nasty, long, chesty deep cough, night sweats etc etc.
Like a moron, I took my time going to the docs and got shuffled off for an xray etc.
I almost immediately got called back to a specialist....oh.
The wife and I were called into a room, three docs /specialists sat there...with an xray on the screen. I looked and thought...sweet jesus, I hope thats not mine, the lung areas were dotted with large shadows all over it. I sat there, probably going paler and paler. I glanced at the wife, she was looking at the xray, eyes wide open, mouth fixed...oh fcuk.
A lot went round my mind for 2 minutes, I wasnt really paying attention.
'Ok Colin....lets have a look'...as she pulled down the xray on the screen...and put mine up.
Phhhhhh, thank Christ for that. Mine just had light shadowing, pneumonia.
