Just heard the theme tune to 'Twin Peaks' on the radio. I never watched the series but remember that my sister was infatuated with it (I can't even remember what it was about). It got me thinking, there must have been some absolute cracking TV series or films that just passed me by. I wondered if anyone else had the same (or listened to everyone else going on and on about a films/series but never really 'got it')...

My wife (rudely looking over my shoulder!) just mentioned that she's never watched Star Wars

Dr Who... seen it through having younger brother/sisters and now kids but never, ever got it through 10 iterations of the doctor and could never work out what was so scary about a glorified wheelie bin with a sink plunger for a gun, namely a 'Dalek'. For my kids now it's 'appointment TV'.

Divorce!!!

There's loads of series and movies I've never seen, or if I have, they were not that memorable

There are so many - tv is just not important enough in my life.

When the family want to watch X Factor or any of those things I go out on my bike / go play guitar / read / walk the dogs. I am actually grateful to Simon Cowell - for getting me away from the tv!

If it wasn't for the aforesaid family I don't think I would have a tv.

One that passed a lot of folk was Carnivale, which remains incomplete but is two series of brilliant story-telling and creativity.

Well worth a watch.

That is a crime...

See what I did there?

I'm not a big TV watcher, but by golly The Sopranos was the very best thing that has ever been on TV as far as I am concerned.
I was lent the first series a while back and watched it, wasn't impressed.

Now Lost on the other hand...
