Evil communist dictator, lover of gerbils & Pope.
Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, X-Files, Nashville, Sopranos, The Wire, There West Wing, Downton Abbey (possibly that one is on purpose, it looks like a turd).

I will probably watch them at some point. Tried OITNB but hated all the characters in it, which made it quite hard to watch.

Here's a few from me
Monty Python
Fools and Horses - the odd one mildly amusing. (chandelier scene funny to point of struggling to breath mind)
Heroes & Lost watched a couple thenrrealised life was too short to wait for anything to happen.
Sopranos & West Wing - never watched

Game of Thrones - looks like Eastenders style soapy bitching & plotting mixed with Lord of the Rings. Must confess I saw episode 1, reckoned they asked Sean Bean to be in it just 'cos he was the 'bloke from LOTR'. Gave up after that.
Any reality show - they are all utter sh*te
Cooking competitions
Dancing competitions
Anything with Peter Andre in it.
All soaps
Breaking Bad
Twin Peaks - liked the theme tune but somehow missed it all.

I find myself on Youtube mostly, watching excellent science & nature lectures given at conferences which never make it onto telly or DVD. Also rediscovering my childhood as someone has put Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea up on the net. Fantastic, OTT silly 60's SF!. The Flying Sub is one sexy piece of kit:okay:.

don't agree - I first saw it in late middle age - perfection from start to finish. Withnail is the part Richard E Grant was born to play. Quite a sad film in its way, tragic even.
Absolutely. One of the few truly great films to have come out of this country. The final scene is sublime. And the rest is all pretty damn perfect too.

One that passed a lot of folk was Carnivale, which remains incomplete but is two series of brilliant story-telling and creativity.

Well worth a watch.
I gave that a try and found it the exact opposite... utter shite!

One programme i wish had passed me by was series 2-7 of 24 (AKA twenty-bloody-four)... the first story in the saga should have been the only one... then I wouldn't have sat through almost 150 episodes of Jack (bloody) Bauer either apologising to, or shooting everyone he meets.

I'm also happily allowing Game of Thrones (AKA Medieval Emmerdale) to pass me by.

Downton Abbey.
I saw my first episode last week when a friend wanted to catch it.
Apart from Maggie Smith dredging every line for max dramatic effect, it was pitiable. A script worthy of R4 afternoon play, performances to rival Acorn Antiques, more plot exposition than a Muppets movie.

bit harsh... there's some good afternoon plays.

Game of Thrones - though I have read the books
Breaking bad - watched a few episodes but all I could think of was Bryan Cranston being Hal in Malcolm in the Middle and I couldn't take it seriously.
