Signs of springtime

A great tit was doing its territorial descant police siren thing this morning, getting himself ready for spring activities.

I saw two great tits yesterday, one was driving a BMW with top down, the other was his passenger being a Bustard.

I've got this solar light attached to my garden fence. After mid-November it no longer stores enough juice to keep it going all night. This morning it was glowing when I woke up.

I'm calling spring.

Also I dried some clothes outside yesterday.

The spring flowers in my front garden are in bloom, there are snowdrops under the hedges in the local lanes and we've had a couple of warm sunny days, springs on its way.

And the bloody swans are pairing up. So .... a few spots on my current canal bank commute which will soon make for "interesting" riding.

Heard skylarks for the first time at the weekend. Daffs starting to come out. Read this morning that the first ospreys have been seen in the Highlands.
