I've sent a few emails (email's?) back to companies (companys or companie's) saying I'd love to buy their product or service but I'm (Ime or ime) concerned that their competence or quality probably matches that of the grammar or spelling in their email or advert.

I've twice had replies to that asking me what's (whats or watts) wrong.

I've said a number of times that I can tolerate errors on here, it's a cycling forum not a grammar exam, but the same doesn't apply to adverts.

Fancy penning a quick email to Planet X?

"From the front to the back, this frameset has been poured over the get every ounce of speed and power onto the road efficiently, with comfort, speed and durability at the heart of our mission.
Geometry remains the same, ideal for fast road use, from day long high paced rides to shorter blasts. It's lightening fast response to power input combined with dampening of road shock makes titanium a perfect material for the ultimate road frame."

Apart from the spelling, the first sentence just doesn't make sense. But hey, it's only a £800 frame...

I especially like it when a sign hedges its bets - something like "Teas and Coffee's". I've never quite worked out why people make lists and think that some plurals need an apostrophe and some don't.
Builder's vans listing what they do often go half and half. They seem happy with extensions but then then go for hot tub's. Then record shops seem to insist on CD's and anything with initals having to have one.

Yes there are worse things in the world but we can forget about them if we just stick to the silly little things.

get over it. surely theres much worse things going on in the world today?

There is?

I thought a mis-placed apostrophe was the end of civilisation as we know it. Next you will tell me it's okay to start a sentence with a conjunction...

But there is a way a right way to start a sentence with a conjunction, and a wrong way
