I built this reverse steer bike to raise money for charity. I used two $10 bikes I got from garage sales. I found the gear at a place in Cleveland called HGR. I cut the gear in half and welded one half to each fork. I used a laser cutter to make the sign boards for the center and my friend hand painted them. Check it out:

Here are some more photos of the finished reverse steer bike. I am an industrial design student at the Cleveland Institute of Art and I make the bike hangers used in the photos. I recently put them on Kickstarter, the first 50 backers get them at $35. Here is the link:

Yours looks a bit classier than mine! This one has been running and raising cash for more than 50 years.

I remeber "riding" one badly at Lightwater Valley, nice workmanship!.

I converted a Honda VFR 800 to LHS Throttle and Front Brake control, clutch on the right for a customer. It was bloody lethal to ride, my brain couldn't get used to it!.

Wow, brilliant stuff! I bet I'd be useless at it. I went on the back of a tandem with my wife steering and I was fighting against her the whole time...

I liked the comment "Your looking at the world as a bias, even if you think you aren't" that is so true reading the arguments that go on on this forum
