Single speeds and turbo trainers

Hi. I have neither a single speed or turbo trainer (yet) but was wondering if the 2 were compatible?! It seems to me that would be ok, but would like advice from others.

Yes they are. I use fixed hub on my rollers and have no problems.

My very old turbo trainer has a lever to alter the resistance that you can mount on your bars - just like having gears!
