Yes, I would even try and find the extra for the elite with carbon forks and zerts.

Carbon forks and the Zertz absorb road buzz - add comfort on hideous UK potholey roads. Another vote for the Elite

My older sirrus sport never had carbon but it was that bit lighter and better specced (gears, wheels, saddle and grips) than the basic sirrus and a bit more set up for speed (28mm tyres rather than 32mm); if you can afford it I'd say go with the Sports too or even the Elite.
