No problems at all here. Currently on work windows 11 laptop on Chrome, fine. Also no slowdowns on Mac, iPhone or iPad (also Chrome).
Virgin media broadband, EE mobile and office wifi also fine. Current internet connection is Leeds.

No problems when on the home PC (wired connection & Firefox) over the past few days, but occasional 'failed to load' messages and slow running when out and about on the mobile (Andriod, WiFi or mobile data and with both Firefox & Chrome.

Tried today on a Chromebook (WiFi & Chrome) and it's on a go slow again. Still no problems when using the main PC.

Might actually be relevant

one of those things that only the people who know the deep down working would know
Well, you're one of the odd ones, like myself.

For me the site is very quick on Edge, but frequently suffers this ~10 second delay on every click

I tried to read this thread hoping for some enlightenment but have only managed to load random pages. First noticed the problem trying to post a ride after the weekend. Difficulty loading images, then duplicates appearing, then just non highlighted image links appearing. Now having difficulty reading posts, then other times it's fine. Windows 11, Firefox running Duckduckgo on laptop. Nothing new, have been using this set up for years. The site has had the odd hiccup over time, but has always settled down eventually. This has been the longest period of misbehaving so far. No problems accessing other sites.

DNS lookup measured in micro seconds. Must be cached.

Is that Google ads, and are you logged into Google on your browser when it stalls.? Bit rubbish though if this website functionality is impacted by third party advertising.

No, it stalls before it calls the page (7709361 is a page).

Once it has passed the stall, it cracks on with everything at a very decent speed.

I have no idea why it stalls and, so far, I have not found a way for chatgpt to get to the bottom of it.

Spoke too soon - same issue now apparent for me on Edge browser.
