I suppose we were unlucky to play England when they'd decided to show up to the tournament.

This is the key bit I think. Discussing with the SWMBO on Friday and said that someone would be getting a drubbing when England finally played. Scotland weren't their best it's true but England did finally play like the 2nd best team in the world.

Which will only really count for much if they achieve a grand slam next weekend, and do so with some style.

True. Now we've finally played how we should, it would be a travesty to return to the form of the first 3 games.

Part of me wishes it was England going to New Zealand this summer. While I don't think we're in a position to realistically challenge them for top spot, I think we are ready to gauge ourselves against them to find out what still needs to be done.

Billy Vunipola is back in the starting 15 for Saturday which is good. Feel sorry for Nowell he has been solid all tournament.
