I know not of these programmes of which you speak but there was a very good documentary on Isambard Kingdom Brunel last night on......Channel 5.
There was also a good Channel 5 one on Stonehenge recently that was full of tech info and didn't need to spend 5 minutes repeating itself after every ad break. In fact, 5 seems to have gone a bit history-mad recently. Who would have thought?
I may have slipped into an alternate universe though - I don't know, perhaps the kind of freaky unbelievable world where Donald Trump is president of the USA, an utter charlatan is about to become prime minister of the UK and Channel 5 is not broadcasting 24 hour cack.
