I've seen this advertised on the side of a bus and thought... I wonder if that's any good... but then again, being advertised on the side of a bus is never a good sign "Must get cinemas packed in the first weekend before word gets out"

Read about this in the paper a while ago, just seemed like the usual Hollywood blockbuster drivel so decided to give it a miss. It has been done again and again. Still it can't be as bad as Independance Day or Armegeddon though. Just looked at it on IMDB and it got 4.5/10. Must be crap as Inception got over 8/10 on there and I switched that off just after the hour mark as I was that bored with all the CGI and the really weak plot. Try watching The Fighter instead, best Hollywood film I have seen since No Country For Old Men.

Skyline makes Independence Day and Armegeddon look like towering masterpieces.
At least those two were quite enjoyable, with at least some plot.
