Slow draining sink

We have exactly the same problem with our bathroom sink. I know it will be blocked up with lots of hair- both my girls have long hair and this problem has been building over for a while now.
The place in the pipe it will be stuck at is pretty much unreachable for novices like me so I'm interested in the drain unblocker mentioned earlier.

Will the One Shot drain cleaner dissolve the hair?

IME no.

What is the fall like on the pipe?
If the fall is too small then the water will flow sloer and gunk has a better chance of sticking around.

I wondered whether that might be part of the problem.

IME no.

Agreed, with most hair blockages, the products become too diluted before they get to the blockage, I always just start undoing pipework.
