We're inundated here as well. Luckily most of the produce is large enough to survive them now, but next damp evening, I think I shall have to be out with the torch and a pointy stick.

Hedgehogs eat slugs too. You'll have to go to a Tiggywinkles Hostel and give some (flea-ridden) spiky friends a home!

I thought a dog had defecated on the path the other day, then I noticed it was a huge black monster slug, a 6" behemoth. :biggrin:
I bet he gets his five portions a day.
 
Slug Tennis.......

Water garden, wait for slugs...

Get old tennis racket, scoop up slug - toss and swing.....

You will be amazed how far they travel!

(PS Snails are better and travel further!)

Living bang in central London and there are loads of the feckers in our 'garden' (small area of concrete....)
