I need to purchase a slushdrink around the longsight area

Get an ice crusher machine - not expensive, and add your own cordial. Ours came from Aldi some years back.

Take some ice cubes, wrap up in the tea towel and hammer them into submission and then put the crushed ice into a glass and add orange juice.

Worked when I was a nipper anyway.

What longers said - probably a corner shop or dodgy looking kebab house. Sorry you aren't getting a location as no-one really drinks the stuff - I'll let my kids have some when on holiday - it's full of 'E' colours and has them bouncing off the wall, especially the blue stuff.
