Smart Sam tyres

Hi has anyone got or tried Smart Sam tyres your comments are appreciated
My son has them on his Marin and really likes them. Can't go wrong at 13 quid ^_^

That's for 24" wheels, it's £17.50 for the more popular 650b, although still good value.

The Plus version - about £25 - has more puncture protection and is sturdier, which may be more suitable for an ebike.

Although I wonder if the OP wants any tyre with a knobbly MTB tread.

The nearest shallow tread equivalent from Schwalbe is either Big Ben or Big Apple, also available in Plus flavour.

I ran some for a while on my 26er hardtail - perfectly adequate tyre over a variety of going and terrains. I replaced with the Plus version which was also perfectly adequate and possibly a bit less puncture prone.

You only need knobblies if you are riding on muddy and/or rough surfaces.

For those of for whom the the term 'off road' means a well maintained cycle path semi slick tyres are more appropriate.

Thanks no I don't go off road stick to tarmac cycle track and roads for me.
