Over on Cricinfo, pretty much every comment thread about anything becomes a barney between fans of the Indian cricket team, and Pakistan cricket team, sometimes slowly, but with a dreadful inevitability.

I guess this independence business can be our equivalent.

I believe that problem is endemic to politicians of all stripes. Probably job related.

David Cameron has one of those faces that you just want to slap, doesn't he??

the increasing rudeness, confrontational attitude, and deliberately provocative language displayed by the more extreme elements of both camps this has left.me.wishing that perhaps I could live somewhere other than the British Isles.

Some of the things said and attitudes displayed.have been utterly shameful and juvenile. If pathetic references to Mel Gibson, and puerile comments about Whitehall Imperialism are anything to go by then neither of the more extreme elements are fit to have any say or influence about how a country should be run.

There are legitimate dissenting voices, and there are people who's behaviour wouldn't be tolerated in a school playground.

As a proud scotsman, watching the whole referendum from afar, I wholly agree with this. It has left a bad taste in the mouth regardless of the outcome next week.
