With winter on its way.... (too soon!?) I dug out a photo of my two trips to the Marin Trail, now called the Gwydir Mawr Trail i believe..

First ride got snowed off as it really was too dangerous. Return trip, a couple of years later, was better weather!

We've had a couple of small dumps of snow this winter. Here's one from November

Another from this Sunday.

Temperatures have shot up now, so it's all gone for now, but the way this winter has been so far, I'm not betting against more snow this year.

That's why I am reluctant to ride in wintry conditions these days! I have had 5 or 6 crashes on ice and got away with minor damage, but I'm getting too old to risk wrecking myself now.

I must have some old winter ride photos though. Hang on...

The bike is my old steel-framed Basso. It is now a singlespeed turbo trainer bike.
