Not cycling, but at the MTB centre this morning. Gisburn Forest walk was lovely in the snow and quite comical but also scary to see the useless attempts at driving on polished sheet ice that were taking place.

Months since I was up there on two wheels. People often come to grief heading north over Stocks toward Bowland Knotts. The concept of creeping at low revs and engine breaking is unknown to many.
