Had frozen rain for a couple of hours over the snow, and it's just dropped it down with big flakes. 2 inches lying - off sledging in the morning.

It started with a bit of fine stuff at 1pm, which soon covered the ground with a thin layer. I last looked just before the Rugby and it was still only fine drift. Just been out with the dog and it's absolutely shitting it down, up to five inches so far.................

Massive differences - we usually only get a little, but 2 miles up the road can be a mare - Macc usually get's hit where Alec is. I bet Cubist will have tonnes later - went up his way with Longers and Dan-bo a year or two back - hilly !!

Funny you should say that - my missus came back complaining about the panic buying - local supermarket was crammed (PS we normally shop sat am).

Spring has sprung here in Glasgow: no ice, no snow, no cold wind, the birdies are singing in the morning, the rain is lukewarm ....it's the global warming finally getting us: I'm gonna do some gardening in my days off! And a wee bit of cycling, of course

We've just been out for a great walk in it - absolutely no one around, only us and a couple of foxes along NCN 6 and back via the Grand Union Canal through Aylestone, Leicester. ^_^

Got some lovely photos which I might inflict on everyone tomorrow.
