Hi people.
Am doing a tour next month from Leigh (near wigan) along North Wales, onto anglesey and going around (anti-clockwise) then its over to Llanberis and stripping the bike down so its a mountain bike again and cycling up and down Mount Snowdon! Then re-attach everything and continue my way back home. Should be just over 300 miles and its a solo effort; I can't wait to get going and I shall post some pics when I am back; I have campsites in mind but if anyone has any suggestions of any please do. I only need basic facilities.

The NT one at the head of Llyn Gwynant is lovely - http://www.gwynant.com/ - fireboxes and wood for sale, good to keep the night chill off.

I've been to the Gwynant campsite too... it's lovely!

It was years ago, The Summit Mountaineering Club AGM... AKA a weekend rave!

one of those barns is medieval and was used as part of the set for some old King Arthur film (the great hall maybe), if my memory serves me rightly.

Brilliant place.
Watch the weather though - that valley seems to have its own weather system entirely independent of the rest of the country! The UK was basking in a heat-wave - so we got washed out by gales and ferocious rain that ONLY affected that one valley.

That place looks great and I saw it ages ago when I first planned trip but forgot about it. Brill response guys, thanks. Oh a blog and some pics defo coming your way. I havn't been on here for a long time as I was going to put a link up to do with the charity, but it won't let me??? I think because my account been dormant for a few months.... lol.
