Wow, that was a cold ride
Max'd out at 1400ft elevation and the snow/hail started on my descent into the wind. Noticeably warmer down in the village. Then another snow shower before I got home.
At home watching the snow showers scudding across the Snake Pass but it isn't cold enough for the snow to settle, even at 2,000ft

Superb hailstorm with thunder this pm.Superb from my point of view that is.Excited at the prospect of three dreary hours in the garden,I got my scruffs gear and my boots, looked out of the window,and saw the most phenomenal hailstorm, shortly followed by peals of thunder.Oh,I was disappointed
Mind you, the downside has been that I couldn't get out on the bike.I tried that yesterday and it was as they say"tasty", the front wheel lifted a few times due to the sidewinds.Should have changed the wheels, but I was in a hurry.Still, there's tomorrow.

Thundered here too. Gaylord went nuts barking at it, but gun dog Lemmy didn't even wake from his slumbers.
