Breaking news..........the Snake Pass isn't closed due to snow

Wow! It always seemed to be closed for something or other when we lived over that way. In fact, I remember watching a truck slide all the way down the bank of the village we lived in and it was the talk of the pub that night. (Bamford 2004)

I would love it to snow down here in Gloucestershire but it's just wet and windy today.

No snow in Sunny Sheffield. Just persistent heavy rain and strong wind.

There was a good documentary on Skys new Bike channel yesterday about Fat Biking in the snow in Alaska. I did think of you @jhawk .

Certainly keeps you fit by the look of it.

I haven't had a go on one yet! I want to though. Looks like so much fun!

No snow in Denmark. Bright and sunny in fact. But it is colder than it has been recently. It has been really mild. So much so a lot of milking cows are still out on the fields and that is really unusual.

Been pouring down all day with occasional snow flurries in SE Cumbria - no low level settling but plenty higher up.

Rain, wind and more rain here. Bloody rubbish cycling weather.
Tomorrow more looks like it has potential for a cheeky scoot round on the hybrid though...just have to watch out for icy patches.

Mrs R is working there but I idle my days away in Finchley........we've rented a very small flat much to the relief of our cat (it's so small that the blighter can't be swung) so Mrs R has a pied-a-terre to hang her gowns.

There were a few flakes of snow mixed in with the ice cold rain I tried to ride to Cockermouth in this lunchtime, and stuff high up on the fells round Ennerdale, but no snow here.

BTW I was quite a catch in my day, I'll have you know. Although these days I suffer a bit from over-fishing.
