So I made a slight modification to my fixed gear...

I thought about selling it, but was TBH a little half hearted about advertising it. So not using it for commuting at the moment and plannning to do some more time trials this year I thought I could modify it slightly. So with a set of cut down drop handlebars to make a base bar and a pair of Token aerobars it now looks like this...

Looks rad!

How are you finding the levers on the base bar? They look to be angled a bit too much unless you're out of the saddle.

Same set-up on proper pursuit bars (Cinelli Tempo):

I thought the same but when riding it it seems to work pretty well. The brakes are fairly sensitive anyway so don't need too much pressure applied, I did rotate the bars slightly which you can see in the pics, the bullhorns used to be in line with the aerobars and are now tilted slightly upwards to give a slightly better braking position.

Awesome. I've seen a couple of TT fixed on my main forum. What ratio are you running?

@Pysyclist: Gearing for fixed is related to the type of course you will be riding, often between 80" & 100".
(Unless you're riding in a 'medium gear event', then it has to be 72" or less.)
