This tale reminds me, in the days when I was a fanatical windsurfer, my mates and I were entertained almost to death one day by watching an obvious beginner on the beach trying to get into his wetsuit. The game was to see how long we could maintain straight faces because the first one to crack up had to go and tell him he was trying to put it on inside out, the nice high coefficient of friction rubber side to his skin.

NT and I were admiring a display of wetsuits at Towel Services on the M1 on Friday, and wondering who buys a wetsuit at a motorway services. We decided against them for ourselves, since we were bound for landlocked Leicester.

I have never been in a Lidle, or an Aldi. Come to think of it I really cant remember last time I went into a supermarket.

I might have been in Lidl or Aldi (cannot remember which one) once, about ten years ago. Have they changed much since then?

The last time that I went into a supermarket, to buy anything other than a bar of chocolate, would have been in 2006.

Leicester has one of the best deep water quarries in the uk  stoney cove. Although you'll need a bit more than a shortie in there! Especially on the Hydrobox in January

Meaning you have everything delivered?
No, not everything delivered.

In this small town I am able to shop in the butcher's, the baker's, but not the candlestick makers. There is also an excellent indoor market. There is the greengrocers, the shoe menders, two bookshops, and many other independent shops too numerous to mention. At the Ironmonger's I can just buy one bolt or one washer or nails by the ounce. ^_^ There is a Tesco shop, about the size of a tennis court, where I can procure the previously-mentionned chocolate.
