I got all excited that I was about to see my house, looked it up and it's not on there! We're down a dead end road that leads onto a bridleway so they probably didn't know we were down there. Oh well, no chance of burglers scoping it out.

We're in. Surprise to me, I never looked until now and I thought we'd be waiting years for the van to show up .... Must have been taken in spring or early summer, our rhododendron's in full bloom (and very nice it looks)! And my (present) car is in the drive - do they blur out numberplates on purpose? I suppose something to do with Data Protection Act...

I also had a look at the house I used to live in, was my parents' house (in the family for 48 years) until my mother died and it was sold in 2003. Never been back to the area since - this is partly an emotional, sentimental thing. Anyway quite an eye-opener, the buyers have done a tremendous lot to the house since. All sorts of thoughts running through my mind .

Our cul-de-sac is on surprisingly, although a single road through town went up a couple of weeks ago.

Must have been taken early on in the day, my sister's car's not outside, she must be working. Can't see if my bike is in the porch or not.

It's pretty easy when you pan around in roads like mine (small terraces with little or no front gardens) who's got a whapping great plasma TV in their front room
