it has proved to be convenient! On another day they'd have captured me hastening through the door!

One of the pleasures of being a man is the al fresco relief but the al fresco evacuation is not to be recommended!

Are there any tales of people being found where they shouldn't be? Eg cars outside the affair-patrtner's house (even thought it has blurred numberplates), employees leaving betting shops when they should be at their desks, and so on? ;)

Mine isn't!

Lots of trees mask us on the main road and they didn't do the actual road
Ours is pretty much exactly the same as that.

Of minor interest is seeing the state of the road surface here. Given that the photo was taken last autumn, it seems to suggest that the local council aren't being entirely truthful in their bleating that the damage was caused by the bad weather.

There's a lot of that surface damage to the roads these days. It's the price paid for just skimming the top in the past instead of relaying them as they used to do.

I did that road this evening for the first time in a few weeks, and now I feel as guilty as heck highlighting it as a bad spot because it's been resurfaced and is now wonderful. They've done the worst four or five sections, probably 300m-400m in total, which could now be used for billiards.

The Shellgrip does seem to make the water collect and trash the surface very quickly, though, doesn't it?

Our new house has been on for a while (we weren't living there at the time). Our old house (we were living there at the time) is on now!

What I'm more impressed with is that my country road commute is now online and shows what it looks like in summer. I am really looking forward to that now! ;)

Here's a sneaky peak. That be Glasgow in the distance. ;)

Oh and this is my favourite training hill! ;)

This is my second favourite! ;)

I saw the car, I saw the car! Today, coming back to base at lunchtime. The road we were on is already up, has been for ages, so I hope they are going to update it - although it's not changed much in a couple of years. We'll be damn easy to spot, in our yellow electric truck.

When this thread started I looked to see if my abode in on the service - it wasn't the last time I looked. Not only is the house now there, but Mrs Blue is actually walking along the pavement on her way to work! Unfortunately it was one of the rare days when I wasn't walking with her.

I'm having a hard time imaging burglars using Streetview to find likely targets, they already know where the rich pickings are.
I can however imagine someone's curiosity being aroused by seeing a blanked out house, maybe enough to make them come around and have a look at what's there.

I am on it twice in 2 locations where I live  Saw the car twice last summer whilst out on a sunday walk. To be fair they didnt blur a pic of my 3 year old in her pushchair, I reported it using the link and in less than 12 hours she was blurred out.
