Yes it is mate. I just don't care for them that much at all, a cheapish car trying to be prestige-like and obviously a Bentley copy. The estate is the worst though, I guess it's not as bad as the PT Cruiser.

Renault 5 GT Turbo

My mate had the earlier MK1 Renault 5 Gordini Turbo. It was fairly quick but I think that the biscuit tin-like bodywork made the car much more scary to be in. I was terrified he would crash as I know I would be in a really bad way. Getting into my Nova SR (It was 1989) felt like getting into a Rolls Royce and they weren't exactly a 5 star NCAP rated machine. Another mate later on used to have a Peugoet 106 Rallye, and that was a similar experience for the same reasons, but it couldn't half corner when it wasn't broken down that is.

only good thing about the 300C was the decent engine. not a planet friendly one though.

I'm not sure what it was called but they should bring back this Toyota one of my friends had years ago. It was a big estate in a sort of gold colour but the greatest thing about it was that between the front seats there was this mighty handle- like the throttle in an airliner.

You pulled it back and the rear quarterlight would open a fraction, giving out a pathetic squeak.

Morris Traveller...

I had one of those.............the Moggi Traveller that is. Paid £20 for it and ran it for about a year. Sadly one evening the torsion bar suspension mount broke and rammed up under the drivers seat. Then that night it was stolen from upside my house, bust suspension notwithstanding. Great little car but the brakes were .........unusual, to say the least.
