Vita is also a type of bike made by Specialized. My wife has one. I'm very glad that Chris Boardman has no plans to mar it.

I think this is the really important bit. I've never seen vita used like this, and a google doesn't help. It's obvious what it's about in context, but online dictionaries (including the Oxford) only have it from latin meaning life, in the sense of curriculum vitae with no indication of it meaning nature or outdoors etc.

Plus, a helmet once saved my life!

An "s" may help. I'm quite simple so could be barking up the wrong tree....
