Go everywhere on your bike?
the ironic thing was last time I saw a speed trap in operation I was on my bike, and first of all I couldnt work out why people were flashing their lights coming towards me, but I think the traffic was a bit heavier than normal, so drivers were struggling more to overtake me, so ultimately I was literally slowing everyone down, so they kept to the speed limit as they all passed , or low enough not to be prosecuted. no doubt they feed those numbers in to their computer say speeding no problem here & never come back.
next day no speed trap, and everyones doing 40mph again in the 30 limit in the same spot.
infact it surprised me more on the day of the speed trap, I was surprised how quickly drivers went from speeding to speed limit then back to speeding again 20metres beyond the police van, it was like surely youve just noticed you might have escaped that one, why are you ignoring that wake up call ?
but there you go it never ceases to amaze me when they publish the figures in Suffolk of the fixed cameras, on the A12 in Dedham vale, its a 70mph limit, it catches roughly 1000 drivers per month.
