Evening again.

I know it’s easy to look online and get the Black Friday or Christmas discounts but any new orders made during this period (from November - December) will only be delivered after February. I have checked with Hillary’s and a couple of online stores as well as DFS / SCS sofa stores but delivery is only after the new years, unless I buy from their clearance sale.

If anyone knows any trustworthy sofa (recliners and sofa bed makers) & curtain (property has bay windows) please do recommend.

John Lewis for sofas. I think they were doing an interest free deal when we bought our sofa.

Not used them, but Dunelm do a blind/curtain service.

Do you have any department stores near by. Your profile says London so the ones we have used several times will be of no use which are Rogers in York and Barkers in Northallerton. However look them up and see if you can something similar locally.

Try local independent furniture makers and upholsterers. They often have shorter lead times than the big chains, especially for custom pieces like bay window curtains and recliners. Check local directories or community groups for recommendations near you.

I need a specific sofa type. 4 individual recliners attached together making it one long sofa & thats where IKEA or the other top brands fail. They say they can customise it the way I want but the total costs are spiralling out. I did rounds of few well names stored but the story remains the same.

I have given away most of my pounds as deposit and cannot stretch it anymore. That’s the reason I’m looking for any local trustworthy guys any one has used or know of.

Will check all of the above suggestions. Ta.

I visit lake side every weekend trying to find a sofa / curtain / furniture or a road bike (which is the main reason I joined this forum) that I like. The house is taking up all my time. Not been working on my cycle goals at all

I’m very picky / choosy. I need things done in a certain way or I will re-start the entire thing.

IKEA starts and ends at their MALM 3/4/6 draw cabinets. I did get them though.
Will probably get a small sofa bed from them.

I have never used Decathlon for anything other than buying clothes.

isn't Evan’s a cycle company? There is a getoutdoors store though.

Not a shop I would recommend, but they do have bikes on display .

Most of our Stuff has come from John Lewis and Heals, both sofas were bought as clearance items with over 50% off so worth keeping an eye out. All the curtains in the house are from John Lewis, they just seem deliver good value for money.

What about two double recliners, as that seems a like a restriction that will rule out most places.

I hope you mean on your house rather than to a sofa company who hasn't delivered.
